Lead Poisoning Prevention

Beginning December 2008, contractors are required to provide owners, tenants, and child care facilities with a copy of EPA’s Renovate Right: Important Lead Hazard Information for Families, Child Care Providers, and Schools (opens in a new tab) lead hazard information pamphlet before beginning work (If you have problems downloading the above, please use this link http://www.epa.gov/lead/pubs/renovaterightbrochure.pdf (opens in a new tab) ).

Protect Your Family (opens in a new tab)  Landlords and sellers of homes built before 1978 are required to handout quired to handout this pamphlet to homebuyers or renters to make them aware of potential lead hazards.
